New Cricket Kit for Help for Heroes

We’ve been lucky enough to help some great causes over the past few months, including the Sick Children’s Trust, and last week we were delighted to welcome some of the Help for Heroes Cricket Team to our showroom in Hove.

Help for Heroes visit Newbery Cricket

As a bastion of British craftsmanship, with all our bats still handmade in Sussex, we’re proud to be associated with the British traditions and values that the charity represents and embodies in all its work. When Help for Heroes’ Carl Harman contacted us on behalf of the charity to ask if we could offer any support to their cricket team, we jumped at the opportunity to assist this fantastic cause in any way we could.

Carl and his teammate soon came down to the store to pick out some bats and pads. The guys were delighted with their gear, so asked if we could provide full team bags and trousers, all embroidered with the Help for Heroes logo. We were only too happy to oblige and, last week, several members of the Help for Heroes team popped down to visit and collect their custom kit.

The Team have just embarked on a tour of Barbados, so they were particularly delighted to get their hands on specially embroidered SPS bags, which have plenty of room for all their kit along with some space for travel essentials. They also picked out a variety of cricket bats, including the brand new Kudos2, which we hope will serve them well in Barbados and looking ahead to their fixtures next summer.
