The Kudos2 was described in the review as "a classic allrounder capable of class and power in equally brimming ladlefuls", praised for its stylish "careful arc" and higher middle.
We gave this season's Kudos2 an longer spine this year, which has extended the middle and elevated the quality of the bat still further.
Former England batsman Mark Ramprakash was impressed with the bat's handle and shape, adding: "The grain is evenly spaced and it hit well, so as a package it’s an all-round good pick."
Ramprakash's fellow testers were similarly fullsome in their praise. Ali Brown praised the pick-up and said the Kudos2 had "a real ping off it", whilst Matthew Hoggard was similarly fullsome in his praise, saying: "Good grain, lots of wood, everything about it felt balanced and it hit the ball really well.
The Kudos2 achieved an overall rating of 77%, a full 2% higher than its nearest competitor, and was rewarded with a rating of 80% for its first impression, 73% for its pick-up and 78% for its performance.
